The first trailer has been released for the upcoming Aussie comedy sequel A Few Less Men.
A follow-up to the hit 2011 comedy A Few Best Men, the film catches up with David (Xavier Samuel), Tom (Kris Marshall) and Graham (Kevin Bishop) in quite the predicament when Luke falls off a cliff. They soon find themselves on a mission to deliver their friend’s corpse back to London, a journey that hits a bit of a stumbling block when their private jet crash lands in the bush.
A Few Best Men scribe Dean Craig, who also penned both versions of Death at a Funeral, returns behind the screenplay here, although director Stephan Elliott opted not to return. Attached at the helm of the sequel is Mark Lamprell, whose credits include My Mother Frank and the 2013 comedy Goddess.
The trailer below is certainly of the red band variety, with enough vulgarity, sex and general crudeness to swat with a book. Your fondness of the first film will likely play a big part in whether you decided to sign up for the follow-up, which could be good for a few laughs. We’ll see.
A Few Less Men will be hitting Aussie cinemas soon.
Synopsis for A Few Less Men:
In the comedy sequel to the worldwide hit A FEW BEST MEN, a destination wedding in Australia’s Blue Mountains goes horribly wrong when Luke gets drunk and falls off a cliff. Our boys, David (Xavier Samuel), Tom (Kris Marshall) and Graham (Kevin Bishop) suddenly find themselves transporting their friend’s corpse back to London, where his grieving Aunt is already planning the funeral. When their private jet crash lands in the bush, the boys must carry the body across the treacherous landscape, contend with some fit ravers, a machete-wielding mother and a mix up with a giant gold penis, all in a race against time to return Luke home – provided they all survive… intact.
