Final ‘A Quiet Place Part 2’ Trailer Released Ahead of Delayed Release

Paramount Pictures

Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for A Quiet Place Part II, which is finally heading to cinemas – yes, cinemas – this month!

And to think: we had a tickets giveaway for this film back in March 2020 – right as the pandemic shut down Aus cinemas, and winners of the passes weren’t able to redeem their tickets! Sigh, sorry about that 🙁

Anyway, this now long-awaited sequel is back on track for a theatrical release, as the new trailer and featurette below most definitely want you to know. Indeed, it’s the type of film to see on the big screen – and we’ll be there asap, pending any sudden lockdowns of course.

A Quiet Place star and director John Krasinksi returns at the helm of the follow-up, which this time comes with a screenplay he also wrote in solo capacity. The film follows the deadly events of the first film and has the remaining Abbott family members (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe – all returning) now facing the terrors of the outside world. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realise that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

“It’s very exciting to be able to come to the theatres to see A Quiet Place 2,” says Krasinski in the featurette below, “It was always designed for a theatrical experience.” Wherever you are, we hope cinemas are available for you to see this one in.

A Quiet Place Part II, also starring Cillian Murphy and Djimon Hounsou, hits Australian cinemas on May 27th. In the US, the sequel hits cinemas on May 28th and then heads to streaming service Paramount+ 45 days later.
