Swinging 1960s crime series Ms. Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries follows the fearless and spirited Peregrine Fisher (Logie Award-nominated Geraldine Hakewill, Wanted, Wakefield), the niece of world-class adventuress and private detective Phryne Fisher, as she inherits a windfall from her famous aunt and sets out to become an exceptional sleuth in her own right.

Based on Julie Wassmer’s much loved series of novels, this series follows big-hearted local restaurant owner Pearl Nolan (Kerry Godliman, After Life, Derek) who sets up a local detective agency after undergoing police training in an earlier career. She is soon embroiled in her first case when she discovers the body of close friend and forms an unlikely partnership with a new local police chief who has transferred from London to escape his past.
