Based on Julie Wassmer’s much loved series of novels, this series follows big-hearted local restaurant owner Pearl Nolan (Kerry Godliman, After Life, Derek) who sets up a local detective agency after undergoing police training in an earlier career. She is soon embroiled in her first case when she discovers the body of close friend and forms an unlikely partnership with a new local police chief who has transferred from London to escape his past.

Car dealer Frank Mallon (Adam Fergus, Being Erica) is watching his life fall apart around him. His wife has left, his cars aren’t selling and his teenage daughter is out of control.
