‘America: The Motion Picture’ Trailer: Channing Tatum is George Washington in Netflix’s Crazy Animated Movie

Netflix has released the trailer for America: The Motion Picture, a crazy-looking animated comedy feature with a voice cast that includes Channing Tatum, Olivia Munn, Andy Samberg, Will Forte, Simon Pegg, and more.

Tatum plays George Washington (yep!) in this wild revision of US history and the founding fathers, with all-out cussing, technology, and RoboCop. Yeah, it looks nuts – and hilarious. Lining this one up for sure.

The animated film comes from director Matt Thompson, who’s worked as writer/director on animated shows such as Archer and Frisky Dingo, and writer Dave Callaham (Godzilla, Wonder Woman 1984, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings).

America: The Motion Picture, also featuring voice work from Jason Mantzoukas, Judy Greer, Bobby Moynihan, Raoul Max Trujillo and Killer Mike, will be streaming on Netflix from June 30th.
