Marvel has dropped a new Ant-Man trailer, giving us our best look at the upcoming Marvel picture with Paul Rudd in the lead.
The general consensus has been one of wariness going in, especially after Edgar Wright’s highly publicized exit from the project. While we’re not completely convinced this will be another Marvel winner, we’re slowly growing more confident in a fun little outing. Sure, there doesn’t seem to be the grandeur of Marvel’s other pics, and the scenes shown off in the trailer seem to be aiming for the comfortable rather than the exciting, but it’s all looking decent enough.
Okay, admittedly, we’re trying our best to stay on the fence with this one until its release. It could still go either way. At the very least, this new trailer has a toy train sequence that slapped goofy smiles on our faces.
Ant-Man, also starring Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Abby Ryder Fortson, David Dastmalchian, Wood Harris, and Judy Greer, hits Australia on July 16 and the U.S. on July 17.
