STX Entertainment has unveiled the first red band trailer for Bad Moms, the upcoming comedy starring Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn.
The film follows three overworked, stressed out mothers who finally snap. Amy (Kunis) and her fellow misfit mothers (Bell, Hahn) decide to shake up their lives and let loose.
This marks the sophomore directorial effort for screenwriters Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, the duo that penned The Hangover and previously wrote-directed 21 & Over.
We’re not too sure the trailer below showcases the right snippets of footage to show off the film, but there could be something here. The leads can provide laughs, and the ‘bad mother’ angle might provide a different type of basis for what will probably be very familiar jokes. Maybe, just maybe, this could be one to look out for.
Bad Moms, also starring Christina Applegate and Jada Pinkett Smith, will hit the U.S. on July 29.

Synopsis for Bad Moms:
Amy Mitchell (MILA KUNIS, Black Swan) puts her family first, second, and third. But her man-child husband, high-maintenance kids and idiot boss are taking a toll. She gives and gives, and gives and gives, and then gives a little more, but it’s never enough. When the alpha moms (CHRISTINA APPLEGATE, Anchorman; ANNIE MUMOLO, Bridesmaids and JADA PINKETT SMITH, Magic Mike XXL) at her kids’ school push her too far, Amy finally snaps. Good Amy becomes Bad Amy really fast — and she doesn’t go alone. Teaming up with two other misfit moms (KATHRYN HAHN, Transparent; KRISTEN BELL, Forgetting Sarah Marshall), Amy gets a jolt of freedom that shakes up her life and might even make her a better mom. So call a sitter, put on your comfy pants, and pour yourself a double Chardonnay, because these moms are about to get bad.
