First ‘Batman v Superman’ Clip Released Prior to New Trailer

The first clip from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has been released ahead of the new trailer set to debut on Jimmy Kimmel in a few days.

We haven’t received much marketing since that big Comic-Con trailer was released back in July, but the new wave of footage is coming.

The awesome clip below sees Ben Affleck’s Batman well and truly captured, tied up in an underground location, surrounded by soldiers dressed in black. Henry Cavill’s Superman drops in, the soldiers bow, Bruce Wayne’s mask is ripped off, and our anticipation builds even more.

Be sure to keep an eye on the site for the new trailer to drop in less than two days.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, also starring Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Holly Hunter,  Laurence Fishburne, and Scoot McNairy, will arrive in Australia on March 24 and the U.S. on March 25.

Synopsis for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
