‘Baymax’ Trailer: Loveable ‘Big Hero 6’ Robot Gets His Own Disney+ Series

Disney Plus

The trailer has been released for Baymax, the upcoming Disney+ series focusing on the loveable robot we met in Disney’s 2014 feature, Big Hero 6, which was itself loosely based on the Marvel Comics comic book series of the same name.

Where Big Hero 6: The Series continued on the film’s story in traditional hand-drawn animation form, Baymax brings back our adorable robotic healthcare provider to CG animation. The animated series, the first ever for Walt Disney Animation Studios, finds Baymax helping people in need around the fictional city of San Fransokyo. Need a class taught on how to apply bandages? Baymax has you covered. Need help running a coffee shop? No worries… customers will just have to be… very… patient. Take a look at the amusing trailer below.

Baymax will premiere exclusively on streaming service Disney+ sometime in the summer (U.S. season) of 2022.
