A new trailer has arrived for upcoming comedy Blockers, starring John Cena, Leslie Mann and Ike Barinholtz.
The film follows three parents who make it their mission to stop their daughters from going through with their pact to lose their virginity on prom night. Cue all sorts of craziness as the one-night sex-block operation unfolds.
It’s a fun angle on the prom night sex comedy that we’ve seen play out many times before, and Mann and Barinholtz should be right at home with this kind of comedy. It’s going to be fun seeing Cena take on a lead role in a comedy after well-received bit roles.
This marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Kay Cannon, who’s best known for writing the Pitch Perfect series. And unsurprisingly, Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are on board as producers.
Watch out for the comedy to arrive in Australia on March 29 and open in the US on April 6.
