JULY 1

JULY 8

  • LIFE ON MARS – SEASON 1-2 – COMPLETE SERIES, NEW TO BRITBOX

The fantasy crime drama that broke TV ratings records.

 

Known for its quirky storylines and 1970s nostalgia, Life on Mars is a critically acclaimed series with a strong cult following. Manchester police officer Sam Tyler (John Simm, Doctor Who, State of Play, Cracker) is hit by a car in 2006, however wakes up in 1973 working at the same police station. Mixing science fiction with police procedural, Life on Mars explores how Sam adjusts to being transported back to the 70s.

These include the chief royal florist David Longman who met with Diana to create a bouquet fit for a princess, musical director Barry Rose who conducted the choir inside St. Paul’s Cathedral, Royal Navy head baker Dave Avery who met with Diana before spending 14 weeks creating the wedding cake, and royal photographer Kent Gavin who captured the ceremony inside St. Paul’s and whom Diana later chose to photograph Prince William’s christening.
