‘DC League of Super-Pets’ Title & Cast Teaser Video Unveiled: Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves & More

Upcoming DC animated film DC League of Super-Pets is coming with quite the voice cast.

Dwayne Johnson revealed the voice-over cast on social media, announcing the big names with a title teaser clip showcasing the canine hero Johnson is voicing, Krypto the Superdog – Superman’s pet.

“Ladies, gents and children of ALL AGES it’s my absolute pleasure to INTRODUCE our star studded @DCLeagueOfSuperPets cast playing our league of two and four-legged heroes and villains!,” Johnson posted.

The line-up of the animated flick: Johnson, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, John Krasinski, Diego Luna and Natasha Lyonne.  Find out more beneath the title and cast reveal:





Hart, continuing his collaborations with Johnson following the Jumanji movies and Central Intelligence,  will be voicing Ace the Bat-Hound – Batman’s pet. No word as yet on which characters the other cast members will be voicing, but it’s worth noting that the original membership of Legion Super-Pets also include Streaky the Supercat, Beppo the Super-Monkey and Comet the Super-Horse, as well as shape-shifting alien Proty II.

The film is being directed and co-written by Jared Stern, co-writer of The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Ninjago Movie, and creator of Netflix’s animated Dr. Seuss series Green Eggs and Ham. Sam Levine (Robot and Monster) is on board as co-director and fellow Lego Batman and Ninjago movies writer John Whittington is co-writer.

As of now, DC League of Super-Pets is scheduled for Australian release on May 19th and US release on May 22nd, 2022.
