“You’re probably thinking, ‘My boyfriend said this was a superhero movie.’ Well, surprise! This is actually – lucky you – a love story.”
A romantic, leg-spread Deadpool talks to a particular demographic in this amusing, ‘Blatant Bachelor Baiting’ TV Spot released for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming superhero film. It’s an interesting tactic, using target-marketing to promote the film during TV’s The Bachelor. Even Ryan Reynolds got in on it by Tweeting in-character during the episode:
If I were on The Bachelor, I’d step out of that limo wearing nothing but white socks and like, 312 candy necklaces. #DeadpoolOnTheBachelor?

Deadpool, also starring Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Gina Carano, and Brianna Hildebrand, hits Australia on February 11 and the U.S. on February 12.
