One of the many, many elements that made Doctor Strange a seriously fun Marvel outing was the mid-credit inclusion of Chris Hemsworth’s Thor.

The quick meet-up between Thor and Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) was a great little teaser for the doctor’s introduction into the wider MCU, and a taste of what we’re in for with Thor: Ragnarok.

Hemsworth took to Twitter to share a Marvel promo for Doctor Strange‘s Digital HD release, giving us a nice behind-the-scenes look at the film’s improv-infused mid-credit tag.

“Late into the shooting of Strange, the Thor: Ragnarok script was coming together,” executive producer Stephen Broussard says in the video below. “And as we were reading it, we said, this scene could be hilarious. Wouldn’t it be funny and answer the question right away, what’s it going be like when Doctor Strange enters the Marvel Universe.”

We’ll get more of Strange and the Asgardian god of thunder in Thor: Ragnarok, which will also feature Hulk/Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo), Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Hela (Cate Blanchett) and Skurge ( Karl Urban). The film opens in the US on November 3 and arrives in Australia sometime in October.

And here’s another Marvel promo for Doctor Strange‘s digital release, this one featuring Cumberbatch providing a quick rundown of the multiverse:
