Behind the scenes footage and cast interview snippets are provided in a new ‘sneak peak’ video released for Doctor Strange.

It’s a relatively short video, and it does end somewhat abruptly, but it’s nevertheless cool to see footage of the film being made along with some great concept art, goodies that will no doubt help pass the time until the film hits cinemas.

While the trailers have been fun and the visuals have us giddily excited, it’s a little surprising that we haven’t been given too much of Benedict Cumberbatch’s titular neurosurgeon turned sorcerer, at least in terms of personality. The trailers have mostly seen him reacting to things around him, without much wit or emotion to really speak of. That being said, we all love Cumberbatch and Marvel certainly know their way around characterisation, so fingers the character – along with the overall film – is locked in as yet another win for the studio.

Doctor Strange, also starring Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Mads Mikkelsen, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, and Scott Adkins, arrives in Australia on October 27 and hits the U.S. on November 4.

He quickly learns that this is not just a center for healing but also the front line of a battle against unseen dark forces bent on destroying our reality. Before long Strange—armed with newly acquired magical powers—is forced to choose whether to return to his life of fortune and status or leave it all behind to defend the world as the most powerful sorcerer in existence. Join Strange on his dangerous, mystifying, and totally mind-bending journey when Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” opens in U.S. theaters on November 4, 2016.
