Social media has allowed us to follow film productions, and the respective parties involved in those projects, almost every step of the way if they so decide to share the journey.
One such production giving fans the opportunity to stay up to date is Fast 8, the next film in the hugely successful Fast & Furious franchise. The latest video entry sees production take the action to Iceland, giving us a behind-the-scenes look at one of the film’s big set pieces: vehicular mayhem on the country’s snow-covered landscape. There’s also a massive explosion, although we’re not too sure if this is the planned boom that was reported earlier this year.
The series has thus far pushed up the scale with every entry, so you can only imagine what’s in store for chapter 8.
Fast 8, with a cast that includes Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, and Kurt Russell, with Charlize Theron attached as the new villain and Scott Eastwood as protégé to Russell’s Mr. Nobody, will be hitting the U.S. on April 14, 2017.
Tyrese recently shared this photo of the big cast on set:
