There isn’t too long before The Walking Dead‘s spin-off series hits screens, so there’s no better time to check out this great featurette introducing Fear the Walking Dead.
The series focuses on a dysfunctional middle-class blended family living in East L.A. and their experiences as the zombie apocalypse unfolds.
“We find our characters in Los Angeles living ordinary lives,” says executive producer Gale Anne Hurd. “And we get to see the decisions that people make in an urban setting, which is very, very different from The Walking Dead and the forest of Georgia.”
The 4-minute piece features interviews with crew and lead cast members, which includes Kim Dickens and Cliff Curtis, and provides some extra bits of footage we haven’t seen before.
Fear the Walking Dead will begin on AMC August 23.
