‘Finding Your Feet’ Trailer: Imelda Saunton & Timothy Spall Find Their Rhythm

Take a look at the trailer for Finding Your Feet, an upcoming comedy starring Imelda Saunton, Celia Imrie and Timothy Spall.

Staunton plays ‘Lady’ Sandra Abbott, a woman enjoying life with her husband of forty years. It all comes tumbling down when she discovers he’s having an affair, leading her to move in with her estranged, very different, older sister Bif (Imrie). In an effort to get her younger sister’s mind off the negative turn her life has taken, Bif invites Sandra to her community dance class.

Directed by Richard Loncraine, whose mixed bag of credits include Richard III (1995), acclaimed HBO film The Gathering Storm, Wimbledon and Firewall.

Finding Your Feet, also starring Joanna Lumley and David Hayman, will open in the UK on October 3. Other release dates to be announce shortly.

Synopsis for Finding Your Feet:

When ‘Lady’ Sandra Abbott (Imelda Staunton) discovers that her husband of forty years is having an affair with her best friend, she seeks refuge with her estranged, bohemian, older sister Bif (Celia Imrie). Sandra couldn’t be more different to her outspoken, serial dating, free spirited sibling.

But it turns out different is just what Sandra needs and she reluctantly lets Bif drag her along to her community dance class, where gradually she starts finding her feet… and romance.

Featuring a star studded cast including Imelda Staunton, Celia Imrie, Timothy Spall, Joanna Lumley and David Hayman, FINDING YOUR FEET is a hilarious and heart-warming modern comedy proving that it’s never too late to start again.
