The first trailer has been released for Need for Speed, the upcoming big-screen adaption of the best selling video game franchise. Starring Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad). They’ve gone for a deadly serious feel with the first trailer, accentuating the drama and action at every turn. Slo-mo seems to be the order of the day while Aaron Paul’s voice over delivers a speech of vengeance. The action looks decent enough, but we’re a little skeptical as to how well the drama will work – considering the importance they’ve given it in this trailer. Fingers crossed this fires on all cylinders.
Scripted by John and George Gatins and directed by Scott Waugh (Act of Valor), the movie follows Tobey as he gets out of prison and seeks revenge against the person who framed him and got him locked up. The film also stars Aaron Paul, Kid Cudi, Dominic Cooper, Dakota Johnson, Imogen Poots, Michael Keaton, Rami Malek, and Nick Chinlund.
