Take a look at the trailer for Gemini, an upcoming thriller starring Lola Kirke, John Cho and Zoë Kravitz.
The film follows the personal assistant (Kirke) of a paranoid Hollywood starlet (Kravitz), and what unfolds after a heinous crime brings in a determined cop (Cho).
While the trailer does show off what looks like a slickly produced little thriller, it doesn’t really make it stand apart from the similar entries before it. It’s the early critical reception that has piqued our interest, with rave reviews coming from the festival circuit calling it a standout film that entertains and intrigues, and at the same time defies genre categorisation.
Gemini is written and directed by Aaron Katz, whose low-budget indie entries include Cold Weather and Land Ho!
