Does Chris Hemsworth have the comedic chops to drive home laughs? Well, if this energetic new Ghostbusters promo is to be believed, he sure does.

Released in time to celebrate Administrative Professionals Day (April 27), this new piece offers up new footage from the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, giving us a better look at the role Chris Hemsworth’s Kevin will play in the team.

“Chris Hemsworth is a huge comedic talent,” says director and co-writer Paul Feig, whose credits include Bridesmaids, The Heat and Spy. And while the general buzz for the film hasn’t been too positive thus far, it’s highly possible Hemsworth, who also put in a turn in last year’s comedy Vacation, could be one of the film’s draw cards. The footage below sees him at ease among the comedic actresses, improvising with the best of them.

Potential comedic value aside, it would be good for Hemsworth to have a hit outside of the MCU. The numbers seen by Red Dawn, Blackhat, In the Heart of the Sea, and the poorly-performing The Huntsman: Winter’s War don’t bode well for the actor’s resume.

We’ll find out how Hemsworth and the overall film fare when Ghostbusters, starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones, hits Australia on July 14 and the U.S. on July 15.
