A new trailer has arrived for the upcoming horror film Hereditary, which tells of a family’s unraveling following the death of the matriarch. It look completely unsettling, the type of film that works its way under your skin with nightmarish imagery and an eerie tone. At least that’s what we’re gathering from the trailers and reviews and thus far.

Get ready to start hearing a lot more about writer-director Ari Aster, who’s making his feature debut here.

Hereditary, starring Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff, Ann Dowd, and what looks like a very strong performance from young actress Milly Shapiro, will be arriving in Australia on June 7 and hits the US on June 8.
