Check out the trailer Netflix has dropped for Hit & Run, an upcoming action-thriller series that reunites Fauda creators Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff, the former of which starred in that hit Israeli series and takes the lead here in this US-Israeli co-production .
Raz plays Segev Azulay, a happily married man whose life is turned upside down when his wife is killed in a mysterious hit and run accident in Tel Aviv. He suspects it may not have been an accident. Grief-stricken and confused, he heads to the US to hunt down his wife’s killers. With the help of his Israeli police detective cousin (played Moran Rosenblatt), an old friend (Gal Toren), and an American ex-lover (Sanaa Lathan) who is a savvy investigative reporter, he begins to uncover disturbing truths about his beloved wife and the secrets she kept from him.
Looks like another tense series from the team brought us the fantastic Fauda (seriously, check that show out if you haven’t), and there’s further promising talent behind the scenes with The Killing writers Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin also on board.
Mark the date: Hit & Run, also starring Gregg Henry, Igal Naor, Michael Aronov, and Kevin Mambo, will be streaming on Netflix from August 6th.
