‘Hoops’ Teaser Trailer Unveils Netflix’s Next Foul-Mouthed Animated Comedy Series


Could this be another great adult animated comedy series to add to the Netflix line-up that includes F is for Family, Big Mouth and Bojack Horseman, among others?

Jake Johnson (Jurassic World, Let’s Be Cops) leads the voice cast of Hoops, an upcoming animated show that has its first teaser trailer available for you to watch below. The series is created by The Late Late Show with James Corden writer Ben Hoffman and follows a hot-headed basketball coach (Johnson) who thinks getting his losing team to a winning point will turn his life around.

It’s a short but amusing date announcement teaser, showcasing a little bit of the foul-mouthed coach’s personality as he endeavours to give his team an inspiration speech. The voice cast includes Rob Riggle (21 Jump Street) as Ben’s former pro athlete father; Natasha Leggero (Another Period) as his estranged wife; Ron Funches (Harley Quinn) as his patient best friend/assistant coach; Cleo King (Mike & Molly) as Lenwood High’s principal; and A.D. Miles (Wet Hot American Summer) as the team’s 7-foot star player.
