‘Justice League’ Snyder Cut Sneak Peek Clip Teases Darkseid’s Arrival

HBO Max has released an enticing first bit of footage from the Zack Snyder cut of Justice League.

The film won’t be released until sometime in 2021, but with something this hyped it’s never too early to start that marketing campaign. This “Sneak Peak” features Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, looking mighty concerned as she looks at a wall painting of the major supervillain Darkseid.

“In the dark, among the stars, ding dong, the God is dead,” Lex Luthor’s voice over says ominously. And then we get a distanced shot of Darkseid and his army.

While Darkseid had long been teased as the big bad of Justice League, the film’s much publicised bumpy road to the screens resulted in the highly lucklustre villain Steppenwolf. It’s going to be interesting to see how Zack Snyder’s intended cut of the film is received come 2021.

We’ll be getting more on the Snyder Cut soon. “Get ready for more at DC FanDom,” Snyder tweeted, referring to the free virtual presentation on August 22 (or August 23, for those in Australia) that will feature announcements and cast/crew from Warner Bros. film, TV, games, and comics.
