Perhaps this is the bit of furniture we need to put an end to the umpteenth hour of the latest Netflix binge.
Don’t get too comfortable on that couch; it may want to kill you. Check out the trailer released for New Zealand horror-comedy Killer Sofa, which, as you can tell from the oh-so straightforward title, tells of an evil couch. It’s a recliner, to be specific, and the plot has it possessed and committing bloody crimes of passion. Because why not?
This amusing and bizarre-looking film comes from writer-director Bernie Rao and stars Piimio Mei, Jed Brophy (The Hobbit), Sarah Munn, Stacy King, and Harley Neville. It could be just the right type of film to watch with the buddies and laugh at/with. Check out the trailer below and watch out for those springs.
Killer Sofa, which was previously known as My Lover, My Lazy Boy, will be hitting DVD and Digital in October.
