Legend Trailer: Watch Tom Hardy Play Gangster Twins

What’s better than a film starring Tom Hardy? A film starring TWO Tom Hardys!

A great new trailer has dropped for Legend, the upcoming film that sees Tom Hardy play notorious real-life London gangster twins Reggie and Ron Kray.

The film takes us back to the 60s and tells of the rise and fall of the infamous Kray Twins, two gangsters who took part in armed robberies, arson, protection rackets, assaults, and eventually earned celebrity status.

This new trailer emits some tangible energy, and Hardy’s looking to smash another performance out of the park. The twins are decidedly different types of people, their conflicting personas adding to the gangster-driven chaos they constantly find themselves in. We can’t wait for this  one.

Written and directed by Brian Helgeland, who won an Oscar for co-writing L.A. Confidential and who previously wrote and directed the Jackie Robinson biopic 42. Helgeland’s screenwriting credits also include Mystic River, Man on Fire, and Green Zone.

Legend, which also stars Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Tara Fitzgerald, Christopher Eccleston, Taron Egerton, and Chazz Palminteri, arrives in the U.S. on October 2 and Australia on October 15.
