‘Locke & Key’ Season 2 Trailer Unlocks Release Date & First Look at Next Chapter of Netflix Fantasy Series

The trailer has arrived for the second season of Netflix fantasy series Locke & Key.

Following season 1, Gabe (Griffin Gluck), now… different, is keen to take the malevolent plan to the next stage. “This world had so much potential to be reborn and consumed, to be ruled,” he says in the teaser trailer below. “It’s time to finish what I started.”

The second season of the series, based on the comic-book series of the same name by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez, also stars Darby Stanchfield as Nina Locke, Connor Jessup as Tyler Locke, Emilia Jones as Kinsey Locke, Jackson Robert Scott as Bode Locke, Petrice Jones as Scot Cavendish, Bill Heck as Rendell Locke, Thomas Mitchell Barnett as Sam Lesser, and Coby Bird as Rufus Whedon, among others.

Watch out for Locke & Key season 2 to drop on Netflix on October 22nd.

After their father is murdered under mysterious circumstances, the three Locke siblings and their mother move into their ancestral home, Keyhouse, which they discover is full of magical keys that may be connected to their father’s death. As the Locke children explore the different keys and their unique powers, a mysterious demon awakens — and will stop at nothing to steal them. From Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel) and Meredith Averill (The Haunting of Hill House), Locke & Key is a coming-of-age mystery about love, loss, and the unshakable bonds that define family. Locke and Key on Netflix is the television adaptation of the best-selling comic book series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez for IDW Entertainment and returns this October for Season 2.
