A fantastic new trailer has been released for Logan, the hugely anticipated picture that is said to be Hugh Jackman’s last hurrah as Wolverine.
The first trailer was basically a masterpiece short film, so it’s downright impressive to follow it up with a trailer that, while arguably not as good, holds up on its own nicely. Those unaware of the comics would have been quite intrigued at the mystery of who that little girl (Dafne Keen) was in the first trailer. Well, the young character – Laura Kinney / X-23 – gets much more of a spotlight this time around.
It’s a true shame that, despite how great Jackman has been as Wolverine, the character simply hasn’t received a truly great solo film. Could this be it? Thus far, all signs point to very big YES. Hope is high, and with good reason. Enough chit-chat. Watch the new trailer below.
Logan, also starring Patrick Stewart, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant, Richard E. Grant and Elizabeth Rodriguez, will be arriving Down Under on March 2 and will hit US cinemas on March 3. The date can’t come soon enough.
