‘Loki’: Tom Hiddleston Unveils Behind the Scenes Look at Disney+ Series Ahead of Premiere

Marvel Studios / Disney+

“This is something I don’t think Marvel has ever done.”

So says Tom Hiddleston in a short-but-fun behind-the-scenes featurette that’s dropped for Loki, the next Marvel series heading to Disney+ following WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Loki reunites us with the God of Mischief on an adventure that comes as a result of his actions in Avengers: Endgame – namely, breaking the timeline after running off with the Tesseract.

“It’s this really big story, with a mixture of tones and genres,” says Kate Herron, the Sex Education helmer who directed all six episodes of Loki. Adds Owen Wilson, playing Time Variance Authority member Mobius M. Mobius: “It is very different.”

Yep, exciting stuff. And thankfully, we don’t have long until it begins! Mark the date: Also starring Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Wunmi Mosaku and Richard E. Grant, Loki will premiere on June 9th!
