While social media channels can unfortunately give a platform to detrimental opinions and criticisms, forcing celebs to leave networks like Twitter behind, they also provide a great space for fans to defend their favourite shows.
TV shows Lucifer and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, for example, were both cancelled in May, but thanks to the droves of fans who took to social media with viral campaigns such as #SaveLucifer and #SaveBrooklyn99, they were both picked up by other companies.

It’s certainly great news for fans of the supernatural series, considering the third season had wrapped up on quite the cliffhanger. Netflix’s Lucifer season 4 will run 10 episodes. No premiere date has been announced as yet.
