Take a look at the official trailer that’s arrived for Made for Love, an upcoming dark-comedy series heading to HBO Max in the US and Stan in Australia.
Cristin Milioti (Palm Springs) stars as Hazel Green, a woman who goes on the run from her suffocating 10-year-marriage to tech billionaire Byron Gogol (Billy Magnussen, Aladdin). Her escape won’t be easy, considering he’s put a “Made of Love” chip in her brain. The monitoring device allows him to track her, watch her, and know her “emotional data” as she tries to regain her independence.
The 10-episode, half-hour series is based on the 2017 novel of the same name by Alissa Nutting and was adapted by Patrick Somerville, who’s had writing and producing roles on acclaimed series such as HBO’s The Leftovers and Netflix’s Maniac.
Also starring Ray Romano (Everybody Loves Raymond, Get Shorty) Dan Bakkedahl (Veep), Noma Dumezweni (The Undoing), Augusto Aguilera (Chasing Life) and Caleb Foote (The Kids Are Alright), Made for Love will be streaming on HBO Max in the US and Stan in Australia from April 1st.
