Take a look at this oh-so exciting new promo that’s been released by Marvel Studios, celebrating the MCU’s journey thus far on the big screen and teasing upcoming Phase Four titles in the process.

The ‘Marvel Studios Celebrates The Movies’ promo features a montage of the studio’s films thus far that’ll warm the heart of many a fan – especially when they showcase the audience reaction during an opening night screening of Avengers: Endgame. The crowd’s excitement and cheering as Cap delivers his “Avengers, assemble” line… it damn-near brings a tear to the eye.

One of the key takeaways is our first taste of Eternals, the MCU epic on the way from recent Nomadland Oscar winner Chloé Zhao. This is going to be opening up the cinematic franchise to a whole new section of the universe, introducing to the screen beings described as an offshoot of the evolutionary process that created sentient life on Earth. The alien Celestials, members of the first lifeforms, instigated this process to make the Eternals the protectors of Earth. “We’re the ones who changed everything,” Gemma Chan’s Sersi says in the trailer.

Eternals features one hell of a cast, including Angelina Jolie as Thena, Richard Madden as Ikaris, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos, Salma Hayek as Ajak, Lia McHugh as Sprite, Don Lee as Gilgamesh and Kit Harington as Dane Whitman.

The marketing piece also showcases the title logos and release dates for upcoming Phase Four entries, which also include – deep breath – Spider-Man: Now Way Home; Sam Raimi-directed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness; Taika Waititi-directed and Christian Bale-as-villain-starring Thor: Love and Thunder, the now-confirmed title for the Black Panther sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever; just-announced Captain Marvel sequel title The Marvels; Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania; Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3; and the hugely anticipated Phase Four closer, Fantastic Four.

“See you at the movies.”
