It didn’t take long to realise that young Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown was destined for big things.
Brown, who memorably plays Eleven in the acclaimed Netflix series, has been added to the cast of Godzilla: King of Monsters, the upcoming sequel to Gareth Edwards’ 2014 film Godzilla.
THR broke the news, although no further details regarding Brown’s role or what the film’s plot could entail have been made available.
The monster sequel will be directed by Michael Dougherty, known for horror films Trick ‘r Treat and Krampus. He has also co-written the screenplay alongside Krampus co-writer Zach Shields.
It’s quite the get for Brown, who will be making her feature film debut with the big-budget sequel. Godzilla: King of Monsters, which is part of the cinematic universe that includes Kong: Skull Island, will be hitting US cinemas on March 22, 2019.
Brown will be back playing Eleven in Stranger Things season 2, which will hit the streaming giant sometime this year.
