Mission: Impossible – Fallout could be one kick-ass action movie.
At least in this writer’s opinion, Tom Cruise’s Mission: Impossible franchise is one of the rare movie franchises that has consistently delivered slick, fun action films (save, perhaps, M:I-2). The latest chapter appears to be keeping the streak going, bringing back Rogue Nation director Christopher McQuarrie and putting Cruise in some of his most jaw-dropping stunts yet. We’re also getting the addition of Henry Cavill, who looks to be giving Cruise’s Ethan Hunt a run for his money when it comes to badassery.
Paramount Pictures has dropped a clip from the upcoming film showcasing Cruise and Cavill in action. It’s good fun, showcasing a brutal scene of fisticuffs where the hits land hard. This could be one of the bathroom punch-up scenes that end up standing nicely alongside moments from films like True Lies and Ninja Assassin (if you’re keen, by the way, Ranker has a nice list of bathroom showdowns to peruse).
