Netflix has released the trailer for upcoming improv comedy series Murderville, led and executive produced by Will Arnett.

It’s a fun and simple concept: Arnett plays a detective who is assigned a new murder case every episode. Each ep brings in a new celebrity guest playing his partner. The catch is that these guests don’t have a script to go off and have no idea where the story is headed, pushing them to improve their way through each case until they have to name the killer.

The celebrity line-up: Annie Murphy, Conan O’Brien, Ken Jeong, Kumail Nanjiani, Marshawn Lynch, and Sharon Stone.

This has the potential to be quite a funny watch, the on-the-spot shenanigans bringing to mind the amusing celebrity improv show Thank God You’re Here (the Aussie version). This is actually based on the UK comedy series Murder in Successville, which ran for three seasons from 2015-2017.

All six episodes of Murderville will be streaming on Netflix from February 3rd.
