Gilmore Girls is set to continue on Netflix.
According to TVline, Netflix has made a deal with Warner Bros. to bring a limited-series revival to the screens.
Series creator Amy Sherman-Palladino and exec producer Daniel Palladino are to pen the next chapter in the series, which is expected to have Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop and Scott Patterson back in their respective roles.
Don’t expect a long run though; the revival series will be made up of four 90-minute episodes.
Amy Sherman-Palladino left Gilmore Girls before the final season, season 7, due to a contract dispute with Warner Bros.
“It would have to be the right everything — the right format, the right timing,” Amy said when asked as to the possibility of a revival during the ATX TV Festival.
“If it ever happened, I promise we’ll do it correctly.” Fingers crossed.
