A new trailer has been released for Office Christmas Party, offering more from the star-studded upcoming comedy.
The plot follows the various shenanigans that occur both leading up to and on the night of an epic office Christmas party, which has been formulated in an effort to impress a potential client, close a sale, and hopefully save everyone’s jobs in the process.
There’s an impressive cast here, including Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, T.J. Miller, and Rob Corddry, and the wild, energetic tone put forth in the trailers does suggest we could be in for a good amount of crude, festive fun. The risk with ambitious comedies that include many characters is that the film can unfold like a series of sketches, providing up a mixed bag of jokes in a hope that at least some stick. If all goes well, this won’t be one of those.
Directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck, who previously brought us Blades of Glory and The Switch.
Not long now: Office Christmas Party, also starring Vanessa Bayer, Jillian Bell, Jamie Chung, Abbey Lee, Kate McKinnon, Olivia Munn, Karan Soni, Courtney B. Vance and Matt Walsh, will arrive in Australia on December 8 and opens in the US on December 9.
