‘Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway’ Trailer: James Corden’s Bunny Leaves the Farm in Fun-Looking Sequel

Sony Pictures

Check out the big new trailer that’s arrived for Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, the follow-up to the successful 2018 family film.

Peter decides to leave the garden now that Bea (Rose Byrne) and Thomas (Domhnall Gleeson) are planning to expand their family with children. One thing leads to another, and a number of the animals are taken, leaving it up to Peter and the rest of the gang to save them.

Despite mixed reviews, the first film was a financial hit, earning over $US351 million worldwide from a budget of $US50 million. Director Will Gluck returns at the helm and again co-writes, although this time he’s writing with Patrick Burleigh (who’s attached to a new Power Rangers reboot). It looks like a fun new chapter for those that enjoyed first.

Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, with a cast that includes David Oyelowo, Elizabeth Debicki and Margot Robbie (the latter two putting in voice work), arrives in Australia on March 19 and opens in the U.S. on April 3.
