The upcoming season 6 summer finale of Pretty Little Liars is going to be a big one.
The twist-filled series has had fans on the edge of their seats, teasing one mystery after another. Now, answers. Season 6, episode 10, titled Game Over, Charles, will reveal what fans have been itching to know: A’s identity and motivation.
Pretty Little Liars creator Marlene King and star Shay Mitchell, who plays Emily Fields in the series, have confirmed to THR that this will indeed be an episode to remember.
“The Pretty Little Liars are still at prom, and we go from there, like a speeding train,” King said.
Mitchell added that we’ll be getting “every single answer”, with reveals including just who Charles, Red Coat and Black Widow really are. Oh, and we’ll also be finding out who it was that hit Alison and Bethany.
“Fans are going to get their answers, for once and for all, and this isn’t a fake,” Mitchell said. “We are serious: You are going to see who [‘A’] is.”
King revealed that we’ll “see dead people” in the episode, which could mean that we’re either in for some surprise deaths or that certain characters we presumed were gone will be making a comeback.
So, what’s going to happen afterwards? When season 6 continues in January 2016, it’s going to be 5 years later in the series.
“A lot can happen in five years to each of those girls,” Mitchell said. “[The Liars] may not be together-together the entire time.”
The Pretty Little Liars summer finale will air August 11 (U.S. date), 8:00 PM on ABCF.
