Johnson plays an FBI profiler on the tails of two of the world’s most-wanted thieves, played by Gadot and Reynolds. He does manage to get them in his sights, but, of course, it’s going to be a little more complicated than just slapping handcuffs on them.
It’s glossy, expensive stuff, with big explosions, attractive locations, and three oh-so charming screen stars doing their thing. Netflix will no doubt be hoping that everyone jumps on this one, since, you know, it was made with what Variety reports to be a budget of around $US200 million. Yeah, it’s the streaming giant’s most expensive film thus far.
The film is both directed and written by Rawson Marshall Thurber, making his third film with Johnson following Central Intelligence and Skyscraper. Thurber’s credits also include comedies Dodgeball and We’re the Millers.
Mark the date: Red Notice will be streaming on Netflix from November 12th.
