One hell of a trippy new promo has dropped for Rick and Morty.
When Morty quite literally drops acid, the pair are taken on a terrifying, psychedelic journey through the multiverse. It’s a bizarre, unsettling, grotesque and creative piece that crams in the weirdness throughout its 3 minutes-plus run time, and reminds of the craziness that can come from the minds of Justin Roiland and Dan Harmond.
The duo have delivered some wild, genius, hilarious, touching, mind-boggling creativity over two seasons. Fingers firmly crossed that season 3, which is right around the corner, continues on in appropriate fashion. Take a deep breath, open up that mind, and prepare to get schwifty from July 30.
But in the meantime…
Rundown for Rick and Morty:
Rick and Morty is Adult Swim’s most scientifically accurate animated comedy. Created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon, it catalogues the bizarre misadventures of a bored scientific genius/drunkard and his socially awkward grandson, Morty. Their exploits tend to have unintended consequences for Morty’s dysfunctional family, especially his unfailingly mediocre father, Jerry. Watch Rick and Morty battle everything from interdimensional customs agents to Cronenberg monsters now, only at http://AdultSwim.com.
