If Jurassic Park: The Musical ever hits Broadway, franchise stars Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum will mostly certainly have the skills at the ready to take the stage.
While on a day off from filming the Jurassic franchise’s next chapter, Jurassic World: Dominion, Neill and Goldblum decided to bless us all with a charming little musical interlude. Neill took to social media with a video of him and Goldblum performing “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face,” a song from the 1956 musical My Fair Lady. Goldlum, the talent that he is, was also on the piano.
This will mark a Jurassic reunion for Neill and Goldbum, who were together as paleontologist Dr. Alan Grant and gifted mathematician Ian Malcolm, respectively, in the franchise’s first film, Steven Spielberg’s 1993 blockbuster, Jurassic Park. Goldblum starred in the sequel, 1997’s Jurassic Park: The Lost World, and also had an appearance in 2018’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Neill led the threequel, 2001’s Jurassic Park III.
Jurassic World: Dominion will be boasting quite the cast, bringing together Jurassic World stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Chris Pratt, Jake Johnson and Justice Smith, with Jurassic Park alums Neill, Goldblum and Laura Dern. The Colin Trevorrow-directed film is currently shooting and is looked at as an industry example of how to tackle a big production, using new protocols, during this pandemic.
As of now, Jurassic World: Dominion is scheduled to hit Australian cinemas on June 10 and U.S. cinemas on June 11, 2021.
