‘Sextuplets’ Trailer: Netflix Comedy Has Marlon Wayans Playing Six Siblings

Netflix

Netflix has released the trailer for upcoming film Sextuplets, a Marlon Wayans comedy vehicle that finds him playing six siblings.

The film follows father-to-be Alan, who discovers he has many other siblings and tries to track them down before his baby is born. There’s Russell, Ethan, Baby Pete (yep), Dawn, and Jaspar.

Long-time Wayans collaborator Michael Tiddes directs this, re-teaming with the actor after directing him in A Haunted House, A Haunted House 2, Fifty Shades of Black and Naked. So yeah, it goes without saying that this one’s likely for Wayans fans only.

Sextuplets, also starring Molly Shannon, Glynn Turman, Michael Ian Black, Debbi Morgan and Bresha Webb, hits Netflix on August 16.

Official synopsis for Sextuplets:

SEXTUPLETS — a comedy from “White Chicks” and “Naked” producers Marlon Wayans and Rick Alvarez, plus producer Nathan Reimann (“Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo”) and director Michael Tiddes (“A Haunted House,” “Naked”) — tells the story of Alan, an expectant father who grew up believing he was an only child. While searching for his birth mother, Alan comes face-to-face with a brother he never knew existed, Russell, who helps him uncover their secret status as sextuplets (all played by Wayans). Soon they begin a spontaneous road trip to track down their additional siblings, but not before Alan wonders whether exploring his roots was a huge mistake.
