The Lone Ranger Gets Two More Featurettes

The Lone Ranger gets two more featurettes. The first focuses on the wild production. Johnny Depp gets hurt and Armie Hammer gets placed on precarious heights. The second is on the cowboy training that Armie Hammer and Ruth Wilson went through.

“The Lone Ranger” is a thrilling adventure infused with action and humor, in which the famed masked hero is brought to life through new eyes. Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

Geez, would’ve thought that the guy who played the twins in The Social Network would be playing the lead in the latest blockbuster from director Gore Verbinski (The Ring, Pirates of the Caribbean, Rango) and producer-legend Jerry Bruckheimer (too many to mention – seriously, check out his filmography)?

This should be big-budget entertainment. Verbinski certainly knows how deliver a blockbuster. Although, I’m sure there’s plenty of people rolling their eyes at yet another “quirky” character from Johnny Depp.

Starring Armie Hammer, Johnny Depp, Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.
