‘The Mandalorian’ Season 2 Trailer: An Exciting Look at the Next Chapter of the Disney Plus Series

Ugh, can Baby Yoda be any cuter?!

The official trailer has been released for The Mandalorian season 2, unveiling plenty of exciting footage from the next chapter of the Star Wars galaxy series. S2 finds the bounty hunter (Pedro Pascal) on a mission to deliver “the Child” to the Jedi, which will obviously find more danger and adventure ahead for what has already been an eventful journey. “You expect me to search the galaxy and return this creature to a race of enemy sorcerers?”

It’s an exciting trailer, promising a much bigger scope this time around and giving Giancarlo Esposito’s Moff Gideon even more of an antagonistic role. Gina Carano and Carl Weathers are among the returning faces, with newcomers including Michael Biehn, Rosario Dawson, Timothy Olyphant and Temuera Morrison, the latter set to play Boba Fett after playing the character’s father, Jengo Fett, in Star Wars, Episode II: Attack of the Clones. Plus, this season’s directors include Jon Favreau, Ant-Man helmer Peyton Reed and Sin City helmer Robert Rodriguez.

If you still haven’t, it’s time to mark that calendar: The Mandalorian season 2 will premiering on Disney + on October 30th.

The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. “The Mandalorian” stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
