‘The Nice Guys’: Final Trailer, Character Posters for Shane Black’s Latest

Warner Bros. Pictures has unveiled the final trailer for The Nice Guys, giving us another energetic, decidedly fun look at the upcoming action-comedy.

Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe play a private eye and hired enforcer respectively in the latest film from writer-director Shane Black, known for his hand in crafting the Lethal Weapon franchise, for writing/directing Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and for directing/co-writing Iron Man 3.

This looks great, with both Gosling and Crowe looking more than comfortable in their back and forths. The new trailer offers up a few new moments, highlighting more of Gosling’s wonderfully performed ineptitude. We can’t wait for this.

The Nice Guys, also starring Kim Basinger, Matt Bomer, and Margaret Qualley, will open in the U.S. on May 20 and arrive in Australia on May 26.

Synopsis for The Nice Guys:

“The Nice Guys” takes place in 1970s Los Angeles, when down-on-his-luck private eye Holland March (Gosling) and hired enforcer Jackson Healy (Crowe) must work together to solve the case of a missing girl and the seemingly unrelated death of a porn star. During their investigation, they uncover a shocking conspiracy that reaches up to the highest circles of power.
