Amazon’s big-looking film has Pratt playing a high school teach who is recruited by soldiers from the future to travel forward in time and help fight aliens that have taken over the earth. Hero lines and booms follow.
Looking forward to checking this one out. It’s a simple, fun concept that could prove to be just the right canvas for kick-ass action and fun alien mayhem. Plus, that’s a pretty solid cast. Here’s hoping.
The Tomorrow War, directed by The Lego Batman Movie helmer Chris McKay and written by Zach Dean (Deadfall, 24 Hours to Live), will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from July 2nd.
