Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for The Umbrella Academy season 3, giving fans a look at what’s to come in the sci-fi comic book adaptation.ƂĀ

The trailer kicks off with the final development we saw in the season 2 finale: our team of superpowered foster siblings arriving back to a changed present, finding a still-alive Reginald and a different Academy – the Sparrow Academy.

“When we jumped here, we created a time paradox. Our little paradox brought forth a freakin’ kugelblitz,” explains the perpetually frustrated Five (Aidan Gallagher).ƂĀ  “What the hell is a kugelblitz?” asks Elliot Page’s Viktor Hargreeves (a change from Vanya following Page coming out as transgender in 2020).ƂĀ  Five responds, “Essentially… we’re screwed!”

Cue plenty of clashing among the Umbrella and Sparrow academies, who may have to work together if they want to face this destructive entity wreaking havoc in the universe.

Returning cast members include Robert Sheehan (as Klaus), Tom Hopper (Luther), David CastaƃĀ±eda (Diego), Emmy Raver-Lampan (Allison), Justin H. Min (Ben), Colm Feore (Reginald), and Ritu Arya (Lila). Among the newcomers: Justin Cornwell (as Marcus), Britne Oldford (Fei), Jake Epstein (Alphonso), Genesis Rodriguez (Sloane), Cazzie David (Jayme), and Euphoria actor Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, in a mysterious role that we get a snippet of in the trailer.

The 10-episode third season of The Umbrella Academy will be streaming on Netflix from June 22nd.
