As can be the case on the marketing run for major blockbusters, you have to keep an eye out for television spots showcasing fun new tidbits.
A new marketing piece has dropped for Thor: Ragnarok, including another look at the demon Surtur (and his sword Twilight, aka the Sword of Doom) and Thor coming up with a name for this new superhero team (don’t quit your day job, Thor).
Everything that’s dropped for the MCU’s 17th film suggests we’re in for a colourful, creative and very exciting outing, with New Zealand director Taika Waititi (Boy, What We Do in the Shadows, Hunt for the Wilderpeople) bringing his humourous stylings to gorgeous-looking, Jack Kirby-influenced visuals. Bring it on already!
Thor: Ragnarok also brings back Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins, and adds Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban. Mark that calendar: the film arrives Down Under on October 26 and hits the U.S. on November 3.
